One Hundred days of school completed! Can you believe it? While counting down, we having been preparing for the big day. First grade has been practicing to numbers 0-100 using tally marks, grids, puzzles, and counting by 2's, 5's and 10's, On Friday, we worked together to make our special trail mix of 100 items and created gumball machines with...guess how many.... candies. We enjoyed celebratory games and special activities. I look forward to our next major team projects. Bookworm and Authors' Celebration are right around the corner! I am so proud of their accomplishments and their motivation! Keep up the great work.
Have a great weekend.
