Our literature choices for the first two weeks highlighted the theme of friendship. The book Do Unto Otters by Laurie Keller was a playful story illustrating ways to be a good friend and neighbor. After brainstorming how to be friendly, polite and kind, the students wrote ways they could demonstrate being a good friend.
